Simply Southern Church Wedding- Delayne & Thomas
How they met: Delaney and Thomas met in her hometown of Macon Georgia. The two were introduced through mutual friends. The group all went to a festival where Delaney & Thomas ended up spending the whole day together. They fell fast for one another and began spending lots of time together.
The proposal: On Christmas day the couple where at Delaney’s grandmother’s home enjoying the holiday with her family. Delaney’s mother decided to take some family pictures and was searching for a location to take them. As Delaney and Thomas walked toward the doc, Thomas got down on one knee and popped the question. Filled with so much love and excitement, Delaney said “yes!”.
Their wedding day: On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in July, Delaney and Thomas tied the knot at First Baptist Church of Eastman. Delaney got ready for their wedding day in their soon to be downtown home that the two are currently remodeling. The couple had originally planned on a destination wedding with their close friends and family surrounding them, but unfortunately due to COVID, their plans were changed. Their friends and families rallied around them and were able to make all their wedding day dreams come true.
