Katelyn and Jordan’s wedding was one of the most special ceremonies I have ever had the privilege of photographing. Their wedding day took place in April at Magnolia Mule Barn in Perry Georgia. It was a beautiful day with the sun peaking in and out behind the clouds.

HOW THEY MET: The two attended college at Georgia State University and the same church where they were both very involved in the campus ministry. After constantly bumping into one another at the same events, services, and hallways, Jordan finally decided to talk to Katelyn. He asked her to share with him her favorite musicians and bands. Soon the two found themselves spending lots of time together. Jordan shared with me that he knew that there was something captivating and special about Katelyn. Katelyn and Jordan both have a desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone they meet and through their faith and devotion to God, their relationship grew.

THE PROPOSAL: Jordan proposed at one of Katelyn’s favorite spots- the Atlanta Botanical Garden! They took a day trip up from Warner Robins to Atlanta on August 29th, 2020. He picked her up and gave her a letter, which he often does at the start of their dates. He then stopped by all of the significant spots in their relationships. The couple went to the place where he asked her to be his girlfriend. They drove by the place where they had their first conversation one-on-one. Then they picked up our favorite lunch and took it to the spot where they had their first kiss. After that, they went to the High Museum– their first date. Katelyn received a letter at each spot. Then Katelyn & Jordan drove to the Gardens, she received another letter and they walked to the spot where he then proposed.
