Liz & Scott | Macon Georgia Engagement
Liz & Scott’s Macon Georgia Engagement session was at the Woodruff House, Macon Terminal Station, Coleman Hill Park, Tatnal Square Park, and a rooftop that overlooked the city of Macon, Georgia. Needless to say, we hit all the good spots.
Liz & Scott grew up a little south of Macon in Worner Robbins. Scott was a few years older in school than Liz. The couple didn’t connect until after college when they moved back home to start their careers.
They often drive to Macon to enjoy the city’s restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. So they decided this beautiful little town would be the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos.
We started their Macon Georgia Engagement session with a stop at Woodruff House and Coleman Hill Park. Woodruff House is a historic home in Macon where you can host events and other social gatherings and where many people come to take photos. Next, we went to Tatnal Square Park, where we took pictures in front of the beautiful foundation. After this, Liz and Scott changed outfits. Liz looked incredible in her top from The Vine Boutique.
The pink tops that they both wore looked amazing in front of the stone and greens of the Macon Terminal Station. And the sun peeked out just in time to get some glowy photos. Our final stop was at a rooftop parking deck that overlooks the beautiful downtown of Macon. If you’re going to have a Macon Georgia Engagement session, you need to get some skyline photos. At this point in their engagement session, I switched to shooting more film. Film gives your images richness and authenticity that is hard to capture with a digital camera.
As we finished the evening, the glow from golden hour wrapped them in a warm embrace.
So excited for Liz & Scott. Can’t wait to celebrate these two this fall at The Grand Magnolia House!
