Savannah Engagement Photos | Courtney & Steven
I had an incredible time capturing Courtney and Steven’s Savannah engagement photos! We wandered through the beautiful Wormsloe Historic Site and charming streets of Isle of Hope. I loved getting to know them and their story along the way. Have a look at the highlights from our adventure, and enjoy some of my favorite moments from this unforgettable day!
Courtney and Steven’s love story began three years ago in dental school in Louisville, Kentucky. Now in their last year, they’re excited to start their residency together soon.
Their relationship began when they cut their winter break short to spend New Year’s together in Louisville. That’s when they had their first date at what has become their favorite restaurant, Le Moo.
One of Courtney and Steven’s favorite things to do as a couple is find piano bars in every city they visit. One of their best memories is stumbling upon an amazing piano bar in New York City, making for an unforgettable night.
Steven surprised Courtney by proposing during a trip to Italy with his parents! He had been secretly planning for months, finding the perfect location, coordinating with Courtney’s parents so they could be there too, and hiring a professional photographer to capture the moment.
All his hard work paid off when Courtney received the surprise of a lifetime at a rooftop hotel bar in Florence. Of course, she said yes to forever with him!
I met up with Courtney and Steven for their engagement session on a crisp December day. We had such a wonderful time exploring together!
We started at the breathtaking Wormsloe Historic Site, filled with lush live oaks and draped in Spanish moss. We couldn’t miss taking photos along the Avenue of Oaks, a stunning mile and a half of 400 oak trees—a true photographer’s dream!
Next, we wandered the charming streets of Isle of Hope, a cute coastal community that was a joy to explore with Courtney and Steven.
Courtney’s parents joined us for the session, and it was wonderful getting to know them before the wedding day. One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is connecting with the family. It makes the wedding day even more special when I know everyone on a personal level. I can’t wait for their big day!
