Kaitlin and Nick’s spring Athens wedding was simply amazing! Their Hadden Estate outdoor ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was full of dancing and joy. Guests enjoyed every moment, from start to finish. It was truly a day to remember!

I feel so honored to have been part of their journey. I first captured Kaitlin’s senior photos in college. Then I photographed their engagement and, now, their wedding. Each milestone has been incredibly special to witness!

Their Love Story

Kaitlin and Nick met in college at Georgia College and State University where they connected through the on-campus student ministry. Their friendship soon grew into a relationship as they bonded over their love of travel, cooking, and outdoor activities like snow skiing and boating.

When Nick decided to propose, he planned a romantic proposal at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. Kaitlin was surprised and immediately said “yes!” It was a magical day for the two of them.

After their engagement, they started planning their dream wedding in Athens, GA. Before their special day, I had the joy of photographing their engagement session at Montaluce Winery. 

Their Athens Wedding Ceremony

Kaitlin and Nick chose Hadden Estate for their wedding. This charming blueberry farm and vineyard is nestled on twenty-four acres of land, just ten minutes from downtown Athens. Hadden Estate has everything! There is a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, a lovely pavilion in the case of inclement weather, and a state-of-the-art indoor reception venue.

Their outdoor wedding ceremony was on the Ceremony Green, a lush green lawn. Kaitlin and Nick said their vows as their 150 guests watched with excitement. After sealing their vows with a kiss, they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife as their loved ones cheered. 

Their Athens Wedding Reception

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed mingling outdoors in the Courtyard during the cocktail hour. Later, everyone moved indoors to the Reception Hall, where the classic black and white dance floor beautifully complemented the light blue accents and white and green floral arrangements.

Following a delicious dinner and touching toasts, the couple and their guests hit the dance floor to dance the night away! The band kept the energy high with non-stop hits, and the guests had a blast with foam glow sticks. Kaitlin and Nick ended the celebration with a sparkler send-off surrounded by their loved ones. It was a night filled with joy and fun for everyone, including me!
