Recently, I had the incredible honor of photographing Mallory and Miles’ breathtaking Lake Oconee wedding. From start to finish, their celebration was a perfect blend of timeless elegance and personal touches that left everyone in awe.

From the moment I started capturing the pre-ceremony preparations, it was clear that Mallory and Miles had poured their hearts into every detail of their summer formal theme. The bridesmaids looked stunning in classic black dresses. Plus, the dresses created a sophisticated contrast against the lush white florals that adorned every corner of the venue.
One of the most heartwarming details that caught my eye was their beloved dog. He proudly sported an adorable floral collar. Personal touches like these make a wedding unique, and as a photographer, I love capturing these moments that showcase a couple’s personality and love story.
The modern ceremony space featured baskets of flowers lining the aisle. This created a romantic pathway for Mallory’s walk to her waiting groom. The floor-to-ceiling windows allowed the natural beauty of Lake Oconee to shine through as they exchanged their vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Then, the celebration moved into the reception. I was blown away by the additional thoughtful details that Mallory and Miles had incorporated. The sage green seating chart with lemon accents was a particular favorite of mine. It added a fresh and vibrant touch to the decor.
Inside the reception space, the couple incorporated more woven baskets as stunning centerpieces. These arrangements, overflowing with lush white roses and hydrangeas, brought a sense of garden beauty to each table.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly when Mallory and Miles cut into their classic two-tier wedding cake. The joy on their faces as they shared this sweet moment was palpable. It was a privilege to capture it for them to cherish for years to come!
As the night progressed, the energy on the dance floor was electric. Surrounded by their loved ones, Mallory and Miles danced the night away. Their happiness was infectious and spread to everyone else there. The celebration culminated in a magical sparkler send-off! The newlyweds made their grand exit through a tunnel of twinkling lights and beaming smiles.
