After photographing many weddings across Atlanta over the years, I can tell you there’s something magical about the garden venues in the city. As someone who’s spent countless hours capturing engagements and weddings in these gardens, I’m excited to share some of my favorite Atlanta garden wedding venues with you.
Cator Woolford Gardens
Nestled in the heart of Druid Hills, Cator Woolford Gardens is one of those rare places that makes you forget you’re in the middle of Atlanta. Honestly, every time I walk through these Italian-style gardens, I feel like I’ve stepped into a secret piece of 1920s Georgia. As one of the few remaining historic estates in the city, it’s managed to stay wonderfully untouched by urban sprawl, which makes for absolutely stunning photos.

Then there’s the Belle Farmhouse, which is perfect for more intimate celebrations. It has a gorgeous wraparound porch and a beautiful indoor space where guests can mingle. Lastly, the Pavilion is ideal for outdoor ceremonies and tented receptions under the stars.

Summerour Studio
Every time I walk through Summerour‘s Tuscan-inspired courtyard, I have to remind myself I’m still in Atlanta! This renovated warehouse space perfectly blends industrial charm with unexpected beauty. The wall of windows running along the entire length of the space is a photographer’s dream, offering this stunning backdrop of the Midtown skyline that looks particularly magical during sunset ceremonies.

Just 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Little River Farms feels like stepping into a different world—in the best possible way! This Milton treasure has been around since the 1940s, and honestly, that history adds so much to this stunning venue. The property perfectly balances elegant touches (like its gorgeous 5,000-square-foot pavilion) with authentic charm. I especially love how the golden hour light filters through the trees here!

If you’re looking for that “outdoor garden feeling” without worrying about Georgia weather, Ashton Gardens is your perfect sweet spot. Just outside Atlanta proper, this venue has mastered the art of bringing the outside in. Their glass chapel is honestly one of my favorite places to shoot! The way natural light streams through the windows and plays off the surrounding greenery creates this ethereal glow that makes every couple look absolutely magical.

Next up is one of Atlanta’s best-kept secrets for truly elegant garden weddings. Since 1956, Cherokee Town and Country Club has been hosting some of the city’s most memorable celebrations. The Town Club, set on the historic Grant Estate in Buckhead, gives you that classic Southern mansion backdrop and secluded garden setting. Truly everywhere you turn, there’s another perfect photo opportunity!
