Elegant Summer Hadden Estate Wedding | Jilly & Chase
Jilly and Chase’s wedding at Hadden Estate at DGD Farms was such a joy to photograph. The soft blue and white colors, the vineyard views, and their sparkler-lit first dance all came together in the best way. It was one of those days that felt easy and full of love from start to finish. Have a look at some of my favorite details and photos from their Hadden Estate wedding!

Jilly and Chase first met in high school. Jilly had a crush on him but never said a word. Years later, they reconnected on Instagram and instantly clicked. Chase proposed at home, just the two of them, which Jilly describes as sweet and intimate. After the wedding, they headed off to St. Lucia to honeymoon at Sugar Beach.

Their day at Hadden Estate was elegant and easygoing from start to finish. Jilly looked stunning in a strapless A-line gown with a long veil that trailed beyond her dress. She wore her hair in a low bun and carried a classic bouquet of white roses. Her bridesmaids wore light blue, floor-length dresses in different styles, each holding smaller versions of Jilly’s bouquet.
Chase wore a tuxedo with a white dinner jacket, while his groomsmen kept it classic in black. It was a perfect look for this formal celebration.
The ceremony took place outdoors under sunny skies. Guests sat beneath umbrellas for shade as three adorable flower girls made their way down the aisle. One of the most touching moments was the empty chair in the front row, saved in memory of Chase’s dad.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed signature cocktails, which were a blueberry vodka lemonade and a margarita. I love that the blueberry lemonade was a nod to the venue’s blueberry vines on the property. Lounge areas with cozy seating, patterned rugs, and blue-and-white florals tied the look together.

Before heading inside, Jilly and Chase dug up the bottle of Knob Creek bourbon they had buried weeks earlier. It’s a fun Southern tradition meant to keep the rain away, and it made for a great moment to photograph.

Inside the reception space, everything felt refined but relaxed. Blue and white patterned table runners, textured floral arrangements, and blue goblets set the tone. Gold accents and blue tapered candles added warmth. The couple’s custom crest appeared throughout. From the bar fronts to the seating chart wall, I love how they incorporated it into multiple places to pull every detail together beautifully.

Their four-tier wedding cake was a showstopper. It featured delicate 3D floral details and was surrounded by white hydrangeas, ranunculus, and roses. A “Generations of Love” table nearby honored family members whose marriages inspired their own.
Later in the evening, guests filled the black-and-white checkered dance floor. Light-up foam wands and custom blue hats came out, and the energy shifted into full party mode.

One of my favorite parts of the day came just before sunset. We slipped away to the blueberry vines for portraits, and the golden light was unreal. Those quiet moments with just the couple and me always feel so meaningful.

As the night came to a close, Jilly and Chase shared a private last dance while guests lined up outside with sparklers. It was the sweetest ending to such a beautiful day.

Hadden Estate at DGD Farms is one of my favorite venues in Georgia. It blends Southern charm with modern style, and the photo locations are endless. Between the blueberry fields, wide open lawns, and elegant indoor spaces, every corner of this venue photographs beautifully.
